Full Time Study
On a full-time basis, the MBA program will take four terms, or
two years, to complete. All students must complete required non-credit
courses in business skills during the program. Students lacking
requisite computer skills will also be required to complete non-credit
computerized instruction modules.
Year 1
Terms 1 and 2 require a total of ten half courses (5 credits) that
provide a foundation in the functional areas of business, economics,
and quantitative analysis.

weighted at 0.5 credits towards degree requirements. A minimum
grade of 70 percent is required for a course to receive graduate
credit.

In Terms 3 and 4, the remaining six half credits will take one
of the following forms:
- A specialization in one of the areas of :**
- Accounting (CMA/MBA),
- Finance,
- Marketing, or
- Human Resource Management, or
- A multi-disciplinary program drawn from the specialized courses
in the fields of study as approved by the Associate Dean of
the Faculty of Business
Subject to the approval of the Associate Dean, students may choose
to replace up to three of the specialty courses with MBAB 5P91 Research
Project II, MBAB 5P92 Research Project III, MBAB 5P93 Research Project
IV and/or MBAB 5F91 Research Project.
Students with an undergraduate degree in business who wish to
continue a previous specialization will develop a program plan
in consultation with the Director of Graduate Programs and Associate
Dean. A research project normally covering one half credit may
be expanded to three half credits in place of course work where
the course work would substantially duplicate material in the
student's undergraduate program.
** The availability of concentrations may be dependent on the
extent of student interest in any given year.
Part Time Study
Part-time students are expected to complete the program within
six years from the date of their first registration. Part-time
students are advised to take two evening courses in each of the
Fall and Winter terms, plus one evening course in the Spring term.
If part-time students maintain the advised schedule, they could
graduate in four years.
