FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

The Master of Business Administration (International Student Program) is a lock-step program delivered over a 16-month period, consisting of four academic terms of 13 weeks each. There is also an internship option available to MBA (ISP) students upon completion of the program academic courses.

Our MBA (ISP) is ideal for students who have not completed any previous studies with English as the language of instruction and who have studied their bachelors degree outside of North America.

In August, students must attend an intensive four-week English study program that includes classes in reading, writing, listening and speaking in the context of the North American business environment. This program provides students with the communication skills necessary to attempt Canadian graduate-level courses.

During the first two terms of the program, the MBA (ISP) provides international students with a broad integrated background in all aspects of management and functional areas of business. During the third and fourth terms, students will acquire a more in-depth knowledge in the areas of accounting (combined CMA/MBA), marketing or finance.

Prospective students and current students interested in getting involved during their degree program with should visit the Graduate Business Council homepage for more information about social activities, community involvement projects and networking activities.
