Professor of Management
Dirk De Clercq teaches Entrepreneurship and Research Methods. He holds a PhD degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, and Master degrees in General Management and Engineering from Ghent University.
He is a recipient of Brock University's Chancellor's Chair for Research Excellence. His research has been funded by several grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). He is also a Research Professor in the Small Business Research Centre at Kingston University London.
He is Consulting Editor of International Small Business Journal and served as Associate Editor of Journal of Small Business Management. He is also an Editorial Board Member of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management Studies, Small Business Economics, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Venture Capital: an International Journal of Entrepreneurial Finance.
